"The plastics and packaging industry has historically been demanding, technical and male-dominated. At Evertis, we have built our people strategy on the conviction that great work is done by teams who feel secure, supported and able to grow, across every role, every site and every generation. From stable contracts and long tenures to advancing gender diversity and supporting families, the choices we make for our people are not separate from operational excellence; they are how we sustain it."
People are the foundation of everything we build at Evertis.
Across our sites in Portugal, Italy, Mexico and Brazil, and our offices in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the United States, our teams drive the innovation, operational performance and long-term growth that define the business. At the end of 2025, Evertis employed 723 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees.
Stable, long-termemployment underpins how we work. In 2025, over 89% of our global workforceheld indefinite contracts, and average employee tenure reached 7.5 years —evidence of the long-term professional relationships we are committed tobuilding. We work to create an environment where people feel secure, supportedand able to grow, across every role, every site and every generation.
¹ Due to the cross-functional nature of certain Group functions based in Portugal, Spain and the United States that support multiple subsidiaries, employee figures are expressed in full-time equivalents (FTE). This may result in decimal values (0.5) in the tables, reflecting proportional allocations across legal entities. For consistency, the narrative refers to a rounded total, while the detailed breakdowns in graphs reflect the precise distributed values. Data as of 31 December, 2025.
Our approach to people rests on four connected areas:
The health and safety of our people is a non-negotiable foundation. Our occupational health and safety management systems align with the internationally recognised ISO 45001 standard — our sites in Portugal, Mexico and Brazil are certified, and Evertis Italia, which entered full production in 2024, is working towards certification.
Each site operates a Health and Safety Policy, with the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) function overseeing implementation and site EHS teams responsible for delivering initiatives and promoting a proactive safety culture. Incidents are investigated and preventive measures implemented through our ISO 45001-aligned procedures, and risk prevention is embedded as a shared responsibility across every department and role.
In 2025 we strengthened our safety governance: integrating human resources and health and safety functions at site level for closer day-to-day coordination, and convening a Group-wide occupational health and safety task force to align how safety is measured and managed across every production unit. The aligned framework will be embedded into our ISO 45001 certifications, with performance targets set at both site and Group level.

In 2026 we are aligning our safety key performance indicators and their calculations across every production unit — a common core of metrics applied with the same definitions and reporting cadence at every site, with a renewed emphasis on leading indicators alongside lagging measures, and targets reportable externally.
Inclusion is embedded inhow we work. Diverse teams bring broader perspectives, sustain innovation andstrengthen performance, and our approach to diversity, equity and inclusionruns across recruitment, development, governance and workplace culture.
Our Code of Ethics and Anti-Retaliation Policy set a clear standard — no employee, contractor, intern or third party should face harassment, discrimination or retaliation in any work setting — and our anonymous Whistleblowing Channel provides a confidential route for raising concerns.
We are transparent about where we stand. In 2025, women represented 16.3% of our global workforce, reflecting the male-dominated nature of the plastics and packaging industry, where operational and shift-based roles continue to skew towards men. Female representation grew slightly compared with 2024. Women accounted for approximately 57% of administrative roles and over 29% of management positions Group-wide, with the highest site-level representation recorded at Evertis Italia (25%) and Evertis México (15%). We promote equal pay for equal work and support the participation of women in technical and innovation‑focused roles. Addressing the structural imbalances of our sector is a long‑term effort, and one we remain committed to.
Women made up over 45% of our corporate office and commercial workforce in 2025. Average employee tenure of 7.5 years breaks down to eight years for men and five years for women. Our commitments in this area include zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination and retaliation, policy coverage across all employment types and third-party interactions, and clear reporting pathways with whistleblower protection. This work connects directly to our Driving Inclusive Circular Impact priority, where our human rights and inclusion commitments extend into the communities where we operate.
On 11 February 2025 we marked the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, under the theme “Women in Science Leadership: A New Era for Sustainability”, recognising the women across our research, operations and leadership who shape circular innovation. On 7 March 2025, IMG Group hosted a virtual International Women’s Day session, “Balance and Wellbeing in Women”, bringing together colleagues from Brazil, Portugal, Mexico, Italy and beyond.

Galilea Terrazas joined Evertis México as an intern, working across quality control and food safety, and progressed to a permanent role on the Quality team in January 2026 — a reflection of our commitment to creating the conditions for early-career professionals to grow into lasting careers.
“My motivation was shaped by the values Iresearched before joining, especially the commitment to sustainability, and bya genuine interest in the manufacturing process.”
“It has reinforced my belief that being curiousand proactive matters more than knowing everything from the start. The Qualityand Food Safety Management Systems team gave me space to learn, to question, and to contribute, and that is what made me want to stay.”

“Be interested in the process, it is the central axis of everything. Stay proactive, lean on the team, and don’t be afraid to act. Being new can feel uncomfortable at first, but it brings something valuable: a fresh perspective that helps you see things differently and propose creative solutions.”
Our approach to wellbeing extends beyond legal compliance. Full-time employees across all locations receive benefits aligned with local legal frameworks and collective agreements, ensuring a consistent baseline of protection — healthcare coverage, retirement contributions and parental leave are guaranteed in every country where we operate.
Where we can go further, we do: Portugal and Brazil offer family support subsidies, with Portugal additionally providing birth and adoption bonuses and educational support.
In 2025, twenty Evertis employees took parental leave, with a 100% return-to-work rate. Through the IMG for all webinar programme, delivered in Portuguese and English, we brought employees together around mindfulness, nutrition, movement and mental wellbeing, while our Employee Assistance Programme remained accessible worldwide, providing confidential support regardless of location.

In December 2025, Evertis México opened its site to employees and their families for a Family Holiday Celebration, combining guided plant tours with activities for children — reinforcing the sense of belonging, respect and collaboration that defines the site.
Together, these commitments — a safe working environment, an inclusive culture, continuous development and meaningful wellbeing support — are not separate from operational excellence. They are how we sustain it, and how we ensure Evertis remains a place where people can build long, secure and rewarding careers.
