On October 14th, Evertis attended the ESR Distinction Ceremony organised by CEMEFI at the World Trade Centre in Mexico City, where the company was officially recognised as a Socially Responsible Company (ESR) for the first time.
This achievement marks an important milestone in Evertis’ journey towards strengthening its commitment to sustainability, ethics, and corporate citizenship. The ESR Distinction is awarded to organisations that not only comply with established social responsibility standards but also demonstrate measurable progress and maturity in implementing responsible practices across environmental, social, governance, and global context dimensions.
During the ceremony, CEMEFI highlighted how socially responsible companies achieve, on average, 20% higher profitability, 30% greater access to markets, and 25% lower employee turnover compared to their peers. The updated ESR model, introduced in 2023, goes beyond simple compliance, focusing instead on assessing the depth and effectiveness of each company’s sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.
Evertis’ recognition reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to operate with integrity, transparency, and respect for people and the planet. It also underscores the company’s determination to create long-term value for its stakeholders through responsible business practices.
