EcoSeal™ is a PET-based film engineered with a specialty polyester sealant. Evertis set the specification and Selenis, our sister company in IMG Group, developed the polymer to meet it. The polyester sealent delivers exceptional heat-sealing performance while keeping the structure compatible with PET thermoform recycling streams.The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) categorised EcoSeal™ as recyclable in PET streams. A tray thermoformed from EcoSeal™ therefore stays in that stream rather than being sorted out of it.The structure supports lower gauges, which reduces film weight and the material used in each package.Resin identification: EcoSeal™ is formulated to meet the composition requirements for resin identification code 1 under ASTM D7611/D7611M.
