Fundación Sol Pacífico represents one of IMG Group’s longest-standing social impact partnerships. As part of the Group’s Social Impact governance framework, this includes support for professionalisation and strategic development, helping strengthen Fundación Sol Pacífico’s management processes, partnerships and impact measurement practices.
Practical workshops, including waste separation exercises and the reuse of materials, help reinforce environmental values while demonstrating how responsible waste management can contribute to healthier ecosystems and communities.
The foundation also promotes community participation through environmental campaigns and local events, including beach and river clean-up campaigns organised with local schools, volunteers and community members.
The partnership supports improvements to school infrastructure in rural communities, including facilities and housing conditions for teachers, helping create safer and more supportive learning environments for students and educators.
